Material and colour was my focus here. It turned out to be quite difficult to combine the materials into a relief composition.
I used objects as the colour - wood, canvas, plaster. Thus the material became an instrument of colour and shape.
I wanted to keep the semicircle on the right side.
The result is a sense of community but with two faces. And here again, it is interesting to note that it is our imagination that draws the eyes, the mouth which brings us to the human face, but these are only materials. It is like a Gestalt. That is, our brain will strive to combine what we have seen into an understandable whole.
I contrasted two bright elements with natural and neutral colours. These elements unite the face (eye and mouth) and create the illusion of circles and lines, which are actually something else.
A bit like in the "digital world" - when the phone has a charge, everything glows and creates an illusion, but when you change the viewing angle and turn off the electricity, then everything is different.
