Less is more.
I choose the sketch with one line because it is talking to me and it was a good composition. So now I experiment with tonal range and minimum colour. The drawing I transported to the iPad and played with colour. Here it is important to say that new technology gives us a chance to experiment and to do things fast. A button “cancel” or “return” is essential. So many times I wanted to play back or take words back or simply paint different line. This is a good theme for writing an essay.
As I noticed in previous works that simple white sheet became more dimensional with UV light, I prepared some paper with a diluted fluorescent acrylic. After it dried I printed my digital drawing on this paper. I had some problems with printing as this paper was not the same anymore and printer didn’t want to accept it… but resourceful Russian wit helped to find a solution.

I was very happy with a result but with a simple white sheet. One thing that the drawing elements are helping with visual distance (smaller, bigger; stronger or weaker pressure; warmer or colder colours), but another moment – that light makes an uneven surface more vibrant and sense of depth increases.
