When compiling my own system of information perception and learning, I wondered whether these concepts are the same for all life situations. The most active learning, as it can be, is not very attractive, but the necessary one for me was connected with languages.
I studied English for a long time and dreary. And there was a result only when I started using it every day. This, an important element of "Action and Repetition" appeared in my learning model. Without repetition, scientists have proven, data does not move from the section of the cerebral cortex responsible for temporary memory to permanent. But for unpleasant situations, for example, sticking a finger into a fire, repetition is not necessary - right? Therefore, I assume that it is possible to create a universal learning model, but like any generalization, one must understand that life situations are so multifaceted and complex that averaging leads to a loss of nuances.
Then, when I learned Portuguese in São Paulo from scratch, after three months I was already able to conduct minimal small talk on the street. This is supported by the statement that the more significant the reinforcement, the faster the learning. This significance in many theories of reflective thinking is interpreted as work in a team, interest, and the implementation of actions with hands. In fact, even a negative event can be significant and we won't be able to forget it. The more significant the reinforcement of the learned or event, the greater the involvement of our brain.
It is worth noting my emphasis on the emotional background at the time of events. This is due to the fact that a person is not always able to give himself a sober account of how he actually felt. There are times when we have to do something that does not really please us, and sometimes even makes us depressed. Such a feeling, for example, I experienced at the institute when I was forced to draw with pencils. I had to turn in pencil drawings for exams, so I had to do it. But in the process of work, everything annoyed me - a thin nasty line, the nauseating colour of the graphite, a disturbing rustling sound in the process of drawing. Understanding your emotional state in the moment of the event alone helped me deal with unpleasant compulsive behaviour.
The remaining stages of evaluation, analysis and conclusions with a work plan are common to other theories of reflective practice.
