Exhibition concept. Art for Change. Transcending Boundaries from digital to physical.

As part of my application for the local art prize in Germany, I wanted to share with you my exhibition project, which is based completely on my Artistic Research.

Since the prize is marked by the exhibition in a particular exhibition space - I use the data of this Museum.

Concept:

In this immersive exhibition, viewers are invited on a sensory journey through my artistic research. Each gallery room acts as a portal into distinct realms, intertwining themes of vitality, synaesthesia, visceral sensations, and the interplay between physical and digital worlds.

Amidst the chaos of armed conflict, people find themselves flooded with information, leading to a loss of trust in what they see, particularly through screens saturated with digital content. The rise of the digital industry and artificial intelligence further complicates matters, blurring the lines between reality and fiction. Post-Internet theories sharpen this confusion, emphasizing the significance of copies over originals and reshaping our understanding of reality.

However, amidst this confusion, it becomes crucial to differ the truth, to recognize the value of human life and emotions, and to acknowledge our vulnerability. Propaganda, ideology, and digital aesthetics shape our perceptions, guiding us through a world influenced by external forces.

Through my research, I seek to uncover the essence of our innate feelings, exploring the physical and tactile aspects of existence and delving into questions of vitality and vulnerability, beauty and aesthetics, destruction and recreation, ideology and inner values. Drawing on personal experiences and memories, I utilize unconventional materials like repainted newspapers and old debris to evoke visceral reactions and prompt introspection, provoke critical thinking about the imposed and native nature of our choices.

I believe that art has the power to both reflect and critique society, serving as a catalyst for social change. Using the audience's internal reactions and engaging their senses, my work aims to foster empathy and dialogue, transcending linguistic barriers and connecting on an emotional level.
