Project 8 Casting, internal space, external form. Work 3

Balloons. Realizing the potential of them, I wanted to try this process.

I watched some interesting videos on YouTube.

And the process of creating internal and external forms began. Difficulties have arisen with stuffing plaster into balls. It took me two days to find the right bottles and tools and to understand the physics lesson in grade 7 high school. But in the end, it was messy, bold and big fun.

Here I need to admit, that the result also corresponds to the epithets that I have chosen to describe the process - messy, bold and big fun.

The shapes were smooth and rounded. They reminded me of Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth.

I combine elements, tried different colours in Photoshop. Again I have been drawn to the combination of materials and their interaction.

In this example, I noticed for myself that the shape and colour separate from the material and create a different meaning. So, in fact, we have gypsum and fur, but in practice, there are associations with the phallus and vagina.
