Reflections 2

Born in Los Angeles, Noguchi lived in Japan until the age of thirteen. (noguchi.org, online).

While studying Isamu Noguchi's reliefs, I thought about the practice of drawing and blending it with light. Where are the boundaries of three-dimensional work, drawing and light?



I decided to start drawing and combine it with one of the reliefs from the previous project.






The relief surface with the autumn still life remained in the background, and the girl became the centre of attention. The paint lay unevenly on the surface. Colour saturation has lost. In the drawing, I can't just work and not plan a result in advance. Charcoal drawing is lively and active in the movement.





So, I reworked last reliefs.
