I'm upset that this part is over.
I don't know why but many of my friends said that they like it better when I paint, rather than make sculptures. I see it differently.
This part of the course was a breakthrough for me – this is how I feel it.
After a long search for the purpose of my research, I focused on the process of work and the chosen direction.
The works were organized into groups. So I analyzed the boundaries of sculpture and painting, virtual and physical through
- flatness and volume - these are works with the object Ball and Abstract form
- colour is a work with a mesh
- materials and their combination
- drawing process which turned to be a sculpture
- the illusion of digital glitch
- projection and video.
I tried to imagine how this or that art object would look in the gallery, so I thought about the presentation of the art object, its quality and if an idea is clear. I only feel underdevelopment in the study of other artists, but in fact, it is not so. Because I often referred to authors who inspired me or gave me ideas. But it could have been a little more expanded.
I often thought about the advice of my tutor - "Well, now, this is in front of you! What is it?". This advice helped me to look at the created object from the outside.
It seems to me that I was able to select good ideas from previous works and continue their development in this last part. It seemed to me that I found a strange embodiment of my addiction to the digital world through the glitch. I see more and more in these bright spots the embodiment of the digital world.
