What I might do further? To continue my project, I can move in several directions.
Technically, I see a lot of ways for experimentation.
1. Work with the shape of the construction for the colour.
2. Experiment with the shape of the paper. It can be prepared in advance in different size paper pieces and then organized on a plane or into a sculpture.
3. Painting method. I have already used several different ways of applying paint to the surface, with the help of various tools, sponges, brooms, and so on. Now the weather is good, and I can experiment with the spray machine. Or apply paint using the monotype method. Or not use colour at all, but leave the newspaper as it is. UV colours?!
As for the concept itself.
1. Continue working with only one colour. Work out colour combinations, their relationship.
2. Try to combine figurativeness and colour, but remain in materiality.
3. Experiment with the line, movement on the surface of the canvas and combine it with materiality.
In terms of contextual research, I have found a huge number of artists working in a similar technique. It is frustrating and suggests that I am not doing anything new. I need to analyze their ideas with the material and try to go beyond that.
Regarding the meaning of colour, I still need to look for new trends here. Somehow everything is outdated or remains the same. Colour personifies mood, events, form and the like - all this has already been analyzed 10 times.
Could the meaning of colour or its understanding be different? For me, the colour has changed - synesthesia. Now it is something more than just colour in nature – outside of my body.
