After two weeks of rain and “stress” around the House (see the previous post) the sun came out of clouds. Blue sky, green grass, dark brown and warm ochre trees are preparing to a new colourful step of spring. This mood is spreading via sunrays and warm March wind.
I finished some preliminary sketches and defined for myself “funny” houses which on one side were the same but they looked like Lego construction. At this moment copping and repeating one house after the other ideal form for a printing – my method of monotype.
This study needed to be completed in pen and ink or a black drawing pen… But no one said that it can’t be an Apple Pencil which was and an ink pen and a drawing pen.
Preliminary prepared paper coloured and not, I mixed some acrylic colour and multiplied stains which for me were or the reflection of the dark square windows, or the idea of the mass building.
Some experiments gave me finally a technical solution with a direct draw with iPencil on the iPad and at the same time on an original drawing on the wall. Before I needed to paint with a mouse on a computer which didn’t allow me to draw precise lines. ;););) I’m happy.
The final piece is a simple digital line integrated into a natural surface of the acrylic colour.
